Rooted in This Land

Nourishing connections with food and the land it comes From

Our one-acre farm grows herbs and vegetables for our kitchen. We use regenerative, small-scale farming methods focused on the long-term health of our soil. For what we can't grow ourselves, we source from local farms carrying on centuries of Northern New Mexico growing traditions. When we can't source locally, we seek out quality, nature-focused suppliers elsewhere.

Overnight guests are welcomed each morning with a complimentary breakfast prepared by our in-house chef.

Our farm is fed by water from the nearby Sangre de Cristo mountains. The water reaches us through the local rivers and an ancient set of irrigation canals known as acequias. In Taos, water is life—and this irrigation system provides us with both food and the green oasis at the heart of our property.

Maravilla is an active part of a thriving agricultural community across Northern New Mexico. We've hosted local groups learning about composting and other farming techniques, and we're constantly learning from those around us. Our indigenous neighbors have been cultivating life from these soils and waters for thousands of years—we are honored to learn from these traditions.

Our grounds are also home to a small herd of horses. Guests are welcome to arrange an equine-assisted experience.

Our farm also produces medicinal herbs, which we blend into signature teas and small-batch wellness products, available for guests to take home.
